2015 Harley Davidson FXDB Dyna Street Bob Review
Classic bobber meets the modern era in the new 2015 Harley-Davidson® Dyna Street Bob. (1) This motorcycle combines traditional styling with contemporary comfort and performance for a bike that truly does not go unnoticed. (2)
Classic Bobber
Harley’s new Dyna Street Bob, available at Adamec Harley-Davidson® (3), remains one of the most popular bikes in its segment. (2) The motorcycle is a modern interpretation or evolution of the “less is more” bobber philosophy, offering classic styling and elements that stay true to the spirit of the original post-war bobbers.
For example, the new 2015 Dyna Street Bob features mini ape-hanger handlebars, (4) old-school stop-turn tail lights finished in chrome blacked-out rims, and a large front wheel. (2) The Street Bob’s clean and minimalist styling certainly adds to the bike’s unique and classic appearance. (3)
H-D’s bike also includes cast fuel tank medallions and Michelin Scorcher tires with an exclusive deep-cut tread designed for enhanced performance, grip and handling. (3)
Also worth noting is the pure blacked-out look of the engine, which is H-D® styling all the way. With the classic edge of the cooling fins, the blacked-out powertrain, gloss black battery cover and textured wrinkle-black rockers with highlighted fins, you’re looking at a purely minimalist style that not only looks great, but also stays true to the classic bobber. Modern Engineering
Classic styling aside, the new Dyna Street Bob features modern engineering, such as an air-cooled, twin cam 103 engine (2) that carries on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution and the Twin Cam 88/96 engines before it. (3)
The engine pushes a maximum 98.8 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm (1) and is paired to a smooth and quiet-shifting six-speed Cruise Drive transmission that reduces engine speed when on the highway to provide you with a better match between engine turnover and road speed. (3) Top Speed estimates the maximum speed of the motorcycle to be 115 miles per hour. (2)
Finally, the 2015 Harley-Davidson® Dyna Street Bob is equipped with an adjustable suspension that you can modify to fit your preferred riding style; plus, anti-lock brakes are standard. (2) For details, contact Adamec Harley-Davidson® in Jacksonville, Orange Park, or St. Augustine, Florida. (3)
